LIVE AT THE BEDFORD

We are excited to be starting live music properly back at The Bedford!

This show is FREE entry however there are a limited number of advance tickets available (at no charge) that you can sign up for which will guarantee a seat (max 6 per table).

Now that social distancing rules have been relaxed, you can also turn up on the night without having to book in advance on a first come first served basis for extra seats and standing room.

Southern Beauty is a jazz trio consisting of three amazingly talented artists on vocals, piano, guitar, and ukulele. With their exciting new approach, Southern Beauty have reimagined many famous Beautiful South hits into the jazz genre as well as delivering captivating renditions of classic jazz standards.

8:30pm LUCY WROE

Lucy Wroe is a singer-songwriter from Winchester, living and performing in London. Her first music release in January 2020 stemmed from 10 years of songwriting and developing her sound as a musician after first picking up a guitar at the age of 10. Her indie-folk sound soon evolved towards the release of her debut EP Thoughts on a Dream in July 2020 which drew influence from female pop icons like Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell. Now, Lucy’s sound is best described as jazz-infused indie-pop, taking influence from Lianne La Havas and Jessie Ware. Backed by a drummer, bassist, and guitarist, Lucy, and her band are currently showcasing a new set of unreleased songs which explore the passion of a new relationship, the complexity of commitment, and how this drives us towards self-reflection.

9:30pm THE VALLA

Blurring the line between pop and rock, The Valla are an emerging band from London. Established in 2019, The Valla have been featured consistently on BBC Introducing, heralded by BBC Surrey and Sussex as Artist of the Week on multiple occasions. The Valla began by playing shows at packed house parties for friends and fans, and pride their live shows on having that same feeling – energetic, dancing, intimate chaos.
