Sophie Benfold After over a decade of songwriting, Sophie Benfold made her debut with “Love Ain’t Easy” in 2023. Keen to hit the ground running, alongside her first release came a dark and thought provoking music video, which has amassed thousands of views on YouTube! Her younger years were spent singing to the family favourite films of ‘High School Musical’, but it was Adele’s ambitious melodies and powerful vocals that Sophie has gained the most inspiration from. On her journey of self-improvement as a songwriter, her artistic flair and soulful voice have become a focal point of her music. 2024 is the year she wants to share her talent with the world and bring fresh original music from the heart of the Kent music scene…Gravesend!

8:30PM RACHAEL SAGE
A soulful vocalist and innovative multi-instrumentalist, NYC singer/songwriter and producer Rachael Sage has earned a loyal following for her dynamic piano playing, delicate guitar work, and improvisational audience interaction.
Sage has shared stages with Beth Hart, Howard Jones, A Great Big World, Judy Collins, Shawn Colvin, Marc Cohn, Jamie Cullum, The Animals and Ani DiFranco. She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and received numerous songwriting awards including The John Lennon Songwriting Contest (Grand Prize) and six Independent Music Awards. Her songs have appeared on MTV, HBO, and the “Fame” soundtrack, among others.
Sage’s 2020 album Character yielded the Billboard-charting single “Blue Sky Days”; her side project Poetica, an adventurous fusion of poetry with jazz, Americana, and classical musical elements in the vein of Leonard Cohen and Laurie Anderson, debuted in October 2021. Her latest full-length album, The Other Side is out now on MPress/Universal/Virgin, and the pending companion album Another Side is due out February 2024.

9:30 PM CASTLECOMBE DRIVE
On the back of some serious praise from DJ legend John Kennedy, Anglo-Irish indie outfit Castlecombe Drive return with the release of their explosive new single, ‘What I’ll Choose’, on 9th February. In a career that’s seen them rock the stages of BST Hyde Park, Shepherds Bush Empire and blasted across the Radio X & BBC Radio 6 airwaves, they’ve recently found themselves catching the attention of Irish MMA megastar Conor McGregor, who shared their latest offering ‘Blues Skies’ to his 47 million Instagram followers. The band now gears up for their headline release show at Servant Jazz Quarters on February 7th. Get ready for plenty more face-melting riffs, ear-worm melodies, and heartfelt lyrics from Castlecombe Drive in the coming year.
