LIVE AT THE BEDFORD, HOT VOX PRESENTS: KIMONO LOCO, JVNO, ÓBÌ
After a 5 year break Kimono Loco are back for one night only at an incredible venue, The Bedford, to remind you exactly what you’ve been missing! Originally a hotel developed in the 1830’s, The Bedford has been the central community hub of Balham for its entire existence. In the late sixties and seventies it was a spit and sawdust live music venue serving as a springboard for early gigs by acts including The Clash and U2.
Their aim is to provide a first class night out for everybody making full use of our three floors, five bars and five function rooms. They live music four nights a week and club nights every Friday and Saturday.
An eclectic mix of styles from indie rock to dance, disco and electronic music; all engaged in constant conversation with their deeply-rooted pop sensibilities.
JVNO
JVNO (pronounced “Juno”) is a vibrant and dynamic band that delivers an electrifying fusion of jazz, funk, R&B, and soul music. Their sound, influenced by musical greats such as Jamie Cullum, Vulfpeck, Level 42, and Incognito continues to evolve, and they’re always exploring new elements and expanding their style. JVNO’s musical flair has earned them a reputation for delivering high-energy performances that captivate audiences and get them grooving. With their infectious grooves and irresistible basslines, JVNO is a band that is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who experiences their electrifying sound.
Óbì
Óbì is an artist and producer from Lagos, Nigeria. He is Influenced by a myriad of genres, but considers his sound to fall under the Alt-pop umbrella.
