8:00pm LA UNDERLINED

Liam Anderson has been writing songs since the age of 14, and after 12 years of keeping nearly all of it to himself, he decided to have a go at making something better out of them. LA Underlined was born in a small village in Surrey when Liam was signing his initials on loyalty cards at the café where he worked back in 2015. Now, LA Underlined is your ticket to the perfect acoustic destination, adding their own blend of ethereal wash and atmospheric ambience to a foundation built on 6 strings. The world can be a dark place with not a lot of corners to escape to, we are here to provide that getaway when you want to jump into some new music and run with it! Join our story, let’s check out the next pages together!

9:30pm h. eldritch

h. eldritch is a project by restless singer-songwriter and producer Harry Houseago, existing on the fringes of indie folk, dirty electronica and ambient music. With little regard for genre or convention, his debut EP ‘Trouble Enough Will Find Us’ (produced with Tim Morris (Enter Shikari) and mastered by Dick Beetham (Alt-J, Seth Lakeman) flew in the face of all expectations of an indie-folk singer songwriter. Harry’s meticulously crafted soundscapes are equal parts ghosts and machines, with fizzing, whirring electronics woven between complex acoustic guitar orchestrations and soaring vocal lines.

Since his previous show with us, h. eldritch has expanded into a three-piece line up with powerful and intricate live bass, ambient textures and seismic drumming – taking the songs from a breathless whisper in one moment to a colossal ensemble roar the next.

h. eldritch held a magical sold-out show here at The Bedford last June and we are thrilled to be bringing him back! These songs can be tender, childlike, beguiling, or replete with downbeat humour – but ultimately, they are all optimistic.

h. eldritch gives you the ghosts and the machines.
