The band was formed in October 1995 by Nick Herrtage to honour a promise and a bet to raise money for the Trinity Hospice. The intention as a covers band was always to recreate a sound as close to the originals as possible, as they are all great songs. It was only meant to be a bit of fun, however, since then the band has gone on to play at several private and charity gigs which have included the Countryside Rocks at Highclere Castle sharing the stage with the good and the great. The most prestigious however was playing for the Queen’s Golden wedding anniversary at Windsor Castle in 1997.
