LIVE AT THE BEDFORD
We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again, however, due to the Covid-19 situation, we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.
Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there will be a ticket link below – Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand, everyone needs to have a seat, There will of course be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.

Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances, as we are unable to use a table for other people if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Thank you for understanding

Daniel Jacklin is folk/Americana artist from Suffolk, based in London. He has been writing music since the age of 7. Daniel started performing from that age and has spent the last 4 years playing the London circuit. In the stories he tells you can hear influence from either side of the pond including the likes of Nathaniel Rateliff, Jade Bird, Damien Rice and Ray LaMontagne.

Cara Hammond is a soulful pop, singer-songwriter from North Wales based in London. Her deep and powerful voice bewitches everyone avid of great music and authenticity. Cara Hammond released in July 2020 her project EP ‘twenty four hours’, a homemade collection of songs, written, produced and mixed by Cara herself during the lockdown, with the help of her fans. The songs were written using ideas sent in by fans on social media. Cara then wrote each song in twenty four hours, for their premiere performance on her weekly Instagram livestream.
The lead track ‘losing balance’ is a fresh and summery song about overlooking the important things in life, and realising it too late. This leading single is a melancholic story about regret, denial & letting love slip. It received an amazing support from the BBC and Spotify, being featured in 7 Spotify New Music Friday across Asia, as well as 2 major Editorial UK playlists ‘Easy ‘and ‘Your Coffee Break’.
Last Summer has been an incredible time for Cara. Alongside solo performances in London, she played mesmerising sets at several UK festivals including Boomtown, Pennfest, and How The Lights Gets In. Other highlights of her live performances include playing at Love Supreme, opening for Mahalia and Charlotte Church, and appearing on a BBC Introducing showcase.
