What's on
LIVE AT THE BEDFORD
We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again, however, due to the Covid-19 situation, we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.
Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there will be a ticket link below – Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand, everyone needs to have a seat, There will of course be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.
For anyone unable to make it in person we will be streaming the show live (our 17th year of live streaming) via the facebook page – www.facebook.com/thebedfordpub
Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances, as we are unable to use a table for other people if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Thank you for understanding
This evening we have live music from:
7:30pm LUKE WHITE
8:30 pm ROISIN O’HAGAN
BOOK YOUR TICKET7:30pm LUKE WHITE
Luke White is a singer-songwriter whose guitar based music and heartfelt words mirror his influences John Mayer, Damien Rice and James Blunt. His first single U.N.I was released in November 2018 and has reached over 16k streams to date. He had been writing and recording his music in a studio in his local area in Bedfordshire for three years and continues to record, release music and gig. Luke has released another single since that in 2019 called ‘Love You Like I Do’ which takes a electronic, pop approach.
He has a very varied sound and style and this is particularly clear in his live performances as you will hear genres such as blues and rock, all the way to stripped back acoustic songs. Luke has been gigging a lot over the last year in places such as London, Bedfordshire and Guildford. he continues to gig solo and with his backing band.
Luke’s most recent single, which he also released a video for, was a song called Break My Fall. He has had lots of interest from various radio stations such as Eagle Radio, Soho Radio and BBC Introducing. In the current pandemic Luke is focusing on writing and recording new material, and looking for new places to perform!

8:30pm ROISIN O'HAGAN
With a knack for writing songs that can at once charm and disarm, Roisin O’Hagan is a Fender Undiscovered finalist who has supported the likes of Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters) and Pete Murray. Able to produce lyrical hooks seemingly in her sleep, she writes catchy, heart-felt songs delivered with a voice that aches and captivates. Endorsed by Matt Malley (Counting Crows), Roisin placed in the final of Fender Undiscovered and was tipped by industry judges Max Helyer (You Me At Six) and Georgie Rogers (BBC 6 Music, Beats 1) for her vocals and songwriting ability. Her music has been played on radio shows including BBC Music Introducing and BBC Radio in Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Kent and has earned her an Under The Apple Tree session (Bob Harris). Roisin, who can normally be found gigging regularly across the UK, has spent lockdown writing and recording new music which is due to be released in October 2020.
“If I had my own record label, I would sign Roisin immediately. She’s the half Irish daughter I never had. Her songwriting is top notch, vocal phrasing is brilliant and arrangements are ready for the world to discover. Join this party soon…it’s going to be a great one!” – Matt Malley – Counting Crows bass player and Oscar nominated songwriter
