BOOK YOUR TICKETLYDIA RAE
Lydia discovered jazz when she found a saxophone in her Grandma’s wardrobe whilst playing Hide-and-Seek and since then her life has changed! Immersing herself in jazz.
Throughout her home and school life, she has ended up combining her love of singing and music with her favourite genre and it has taken her all over the UK with her band.
She has fronted several Big Bands and performed at some awesome jazz festivals including Wigan International Jazz Festival and Cheltenham Jazz Festival! She recently recorded and released her first EP. This showcases 5 of her original compositions brought to life by a very talented pool of musicians in the Birmingham jazz scene.
Inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Charlie Parker, Esperanza Spalding and Cole Porter, she loves to span music from the 1920’s all the way through to contemporary artists and bring creative twists to the sounds of the Great American Songbook. Being classically trained before venturing into jazz and swing, she relishes the opportunity to bend genres and fuse sounds!

HEIDI
Heidi is an emerging artist based in London/Stoke, inspired by the powerful female voices of the alternative pop scene. As a songwriter and performer, Heidi grew up with a love for poetry and spent her childhood quietly swooning over Shakespeare, proving that being “the odd kid” has its perks. Her passion for words sees her also working as an actor, with her breakout role in the psychological thriller Dirty Boy already scoring four Raindance Award nominations and will be available to stream in 2026. Her debut single Maybe You’re The Problem received multiple plays and two interviews on BBC Introducing, signalling the emergence of a distinctive new voice. Since releasing her second single earlier this year, she was immediately asked to play a live session for BBC Introducing in May which broadcast from The Nantwich Jazz and Blues Festival, as well as playing slots at Lymelight Music Festival, The Honey Box Live, and releasing her self-choreographed music video ‘What We Could’ve Been’ which you can watch on all platforms.
