LIVE AT THE BEDFORD

We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again, however, due to the Covid-19 situation, we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.

Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there will be a ticket link below – Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand, everyone needs to have a seat, There will of course be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.

For anyone unable to make it in person we will be streaming the show live (our 17th year of live streaming) via the facebook page – www.facebook.com/thebedfordpub

Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances, as we are unable to use a table for other people  if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Due to tier 2 regulations you can only have one household or support bubble per table. Thank you for understanding.

This evening we have live music from:

7:30pm LOTS HOLLOWAY

8:30pm TOM SPEIGHT

7:30pm LOTS HOLLOWAY

“Writing music is how I speak to people” – Lots Holloway

Combine born enchantment and a bad-boy nature with the ability to speak to the heart through song, and you’ll understand why the effortless allure of Lots Holloway has been supported by Radio 1’s BBC Introducing, lead to writing songs with KT Tunstall & working on music in Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music’s personal studio.
The British singer/songwriter & multi-instrumentalist delivers warm & raspy vocals over retro inspired indie-soul, taking notes from classic hook-heavyweights & modern contemporaries like Elton John, King Princess, Harry Styles & Vampire Weekend.

Self-taught musician, Holloway grew up addicted to the hits being blasted out from the record-player in his family home. Freedom & rebellion are strong themes in Holloway’s life, like dropping out of collage at 17 to move to London for music or unapologetically breaking the boundaries of gender-norms as a demiguy & this attitude can also be seen seeping so brazenly into the music.

Lots has written music for Film & TV (Fast Girls, They/Them/Us and Amazon Prime’s ‘Treacle’) along with music for other artists including singles which have peaked in top 40s around the world.

“In serious situations I find it very hard to express my thoughts and emotions, but put me on stage in front of a mic and I’ll tell you everything”
