Edgy’s awesome powerpop sound has been compared to “Shirley Bassey supported by the Buzzcocks.” Edgy were formed in 2001 and have gone through various shapes and sizes since, with their current line-up – Sarah Currant (vocals), Eddie Dyja (guitar), Richard Holford (bass), Pot Blawat (drums). In 2013 Edgy supported New Wave icon Lene Lovich at London Cargo and to date have recorded eight albums, three singles and 10 Christmas singles (one a year since 2016). They continue to thumb through various musical genres – all played with a typical Edgy twist and an impish sense of fun.
