What's on

LIVE AT THE BEDFORD

We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again however due to Covid-19 we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.

Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there is a ticket link below.

Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand. Everyone is required to have a seat. There will be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.

For anyone unable to make it in person we will be streaming the show live (our 17th year of live streaming) via our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/thebedfordpub

Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances as we are unable to use a table for other people if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Current guidelines only permit tables of six or two households or bubbles.  Thank you for understanding.

This evening we have live music from:

8:00 PM HALEY FISHBERGER

8:30 PM ROXY MASH

9:30 PM H.ELDRITCH

9:30pm h.eldritch

Live, h. eldritch are a powerhouse duo with songs and showmanship in spades – with Harry on strings and words and Oscar on the sticks and skins. The unmistakable sound and thrilling live show won h the opening slot on the main stage of the Bath Festival 70th Anniversary, on the same stage headlined by Paloma Faith and Robert Plant.

Finely-crafted acoustic guitar lines combine with imaginative hybrid acoustic/electronic grooves and vocals that drift from delicate falsetto lines to impassioned roars, singing songs about being a human and trying to get better at it. These songs can be tender, childlike, beguiling, or replete with downbeat humour – but ultimately, as he says: “I’m an optimist, sick as I am”
