8:00pm THE LOST TRADES

The Lost Trades are a trio of Wiltshire based singer songwriters (Jamie R Hawkins, Phil Cooper and Tamsin Quin) who, brought together by a mutual love of folk and roots music, joined forces in late 2019 for a three part harmony, modern folk adventure.

Performing both collectively and individually penned songs, The Lost Trades tell carefully crafted stories using an array of stringed instruments and light percussion, all lovingly stitched together with soaring vocal harmonies.

A global pandemic meant their debut tour in 2020 was cut short and the three retreated to their songwriting rooms and studio in an effort to condense the initial excitement into an album they could tour once the world opened up again. The resulting album is “The Bird, The Book & The Barrel” which was released in June 2021.

9:30pm DAN B PATRICK

Dan B. Patrick is an Irish-Welsh singer-songwriter living in London. Dan has been playing music from a young age, playing his first gig in Belfast at 16, having been inspired by a wealth of Irish singer-songwriters such as Hozier, Damien Rice, and Foy Vance. Dan’s songwriting focuses on the most salient aspects of the human experience, covering love, loss, mortality and hope. He uses his powerful, soaring vocals as an effective tool for delivering his thoughtful lyrics. For Dan, the lyrics to his songs have to stand up as their own body of work, independent from the music to which they belong. Upon moving to London for university, Dan spent his next few years earning his stripes on the London gigging circuit, meeting other artists such as Maisie Peters and Etaoin, along the way. Before the pandemic, Dan played his first sold-out headline show in London and has also played gigs as far afield as Austin and Los Angeles. The highlight of his career to date was having the opportunity to sing with one of his heroes, Foy Vance, at a private gig in London. Dan is releasing his debut EP, “A Streak of Light” later in 2021.
