8:20pm AISLING
AISLING is a Queer Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Spoken Word Artist and Poet based in London. With their debut EP, LAYERS, in collaboration with long term music partner Eames, AISLING explored heartache and the healing process that comes with it. An atmospheric and vulnerable EP that delved into vocal layers and melodies. Their sophomore EP, FOUR (PLAY) released on 25th June to celebrate Pride, was written in lockdown and explores Sexuality, Sex, Pleasure, Desire and Discovery through a queer lens. It’s a liberating project that takes AISLING into a new music era heavily influenced by the 80s and 90s music scenes with 70s songwriting influences, as well as Queer culture and what their Queerness means to them. Lead single Explore You was dubbed as a ‘queer summer anthem’ by DIVA Magazine. In amongst their own releases AISLING also recently wrote and featured on Eames track If You Knew Me Now which was remixed by Cass and released on his new label OurSecretLabs Sounds. The track premiered on WhenWeDip to great reviews.

9:10pm ALLIE MAI
Allie Mai is an upcoming electronic musician making waves in the alternative scene. The Brighton based artist fuses synthwave with dark atmospheric pop, melancholy lyricism, unsettling harmonies and heavy basslines to forge an introspective whirlwind of emotions. After performing at renowned music venues such as Komedia, Allie Mai never fails to create an energetic and captivating experience for her audience at live shows.
After working alongside electronic producer, Grant Strang, Allie Mai was able to combine her influences of 2000’s emo vocal characteristics and heavy accompaniment and re-invent these sounds with the synthesizer-dominated accompaniment, prevalent in 80s electronica.
Allie Mai studied Artist development and Vocal performance at BIMM Brighton in which she received guidance from recognised industry professionals including Dani Wilde and Ben Thomas (Rag’n’Bone Man).
Over the past year Allie Mai has been slowly building anticipation for the release of her debut EP “Plastic Tubes” due for release in September 2021 and with a performance at The Bedford in London, Allie Mai is one to watch

10:00pm ONE-EYED DISCO
One-Eyed Disco, a Hook laden indie-punk four piece from South London. Forming in late 2019 these guys are new on the scene, but already have an impressive repertoire of high energy, agro fuelled tracks at their disposal. Combining a unique blend of indie dance riffs, atmospheric Synth, and old school guitar solos, One-Eyed Disco epitomises the modern guitar indie band. Their sound has been described as the love child of original Artic Monkeys and Kasabian, with lyrics that perfectly capture the darker side of modern society, and the joys that can still be found therein.
After a solid run of shows in 2019, One-Eyed Disco returned to the stage this year post pandemic. Recent performances at The Fighting Cocks and Camden Rocks Festival showcased new indie-synth material, while maintaining that One-Eyed sound they have become known for. They are currently recording their long overdue debut EP at Silver Shark Studios with an eye on release early 2022.
Welcome to the house of fun, son!
