TALENTBANQ/CAFFE NERO PRESENTS: LIVE AT THE BEDFORD
We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again, however, due to the Covid-19 situation, we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.
Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there will be a ticket link below – Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand, everyone needs to have a seat, There will of course be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.

Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances, as we are unable to use a table for other people if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Thank you for understanding

STONE JETS
Take a pop sensibility; add a dash of classic rock influence, a bucket load of soul and a sprinkling of African rhythms and you’ll get Stone Jets — an outfit whose music simply cannot be pigeonholed.
With their multi-cultural background, Given and Manfred’s sound transcends boundaries. Their toe-tapping tunes cater to any taste while still staying true to their ethos.
James Morrison called them “amazingly talented” while others have raved about their live performances. After conquering their home country, the band is ready to share their magic with Europe.

GEORGIA & THE VINTAGE YOUTH
Georgia and her retro-pop band “The Vintage Youth” have established quite a reputation in their homelands of Essex and London – but that story is about to get bigger. Last year they took to the road, playing to thousands on a 50 date support tour – including a finale performance at The Royal Albert Hall. Major festival appearances included The Isle of Wight, Cheltenham Jazz and Cornbury. Momentum has continued into 2020, Georgia being signed to management company, TALENTBANQ and heading into the studio to record her new EP – Overthinker. The sound is fresh – with immediate youthful appeal, yet echoes the vocal rawness of Janis Joplin, the energy of Marc Bolan and a nod to the wonderful tones of Amy Winehouse. Overthinker is released on September 24th – with live shows booked at Paper Dress Vintage and The Jazz Cafe. 2021 sees the band touring the UK and Germany, with further plans of a 3 city tour of China.

SLIM BLUE
Formed during lockdown, Slim Blue are a multi-talented musical duo, made up of vocalist and songwriter Georgina Inkster and self-taught guitarist, producer and songwriter Reece Roughley. They radiate a chemistry by drawing on their mixed musical inspirations to create their own unique sound from upbeat foot tapping rock, through the genres to soulful folk that leaves the listener wanting more.
Having now penned over 40 original songs, their song writing exudes maturity beyond their years especially so early into their music journey. Wasting no time, they have used lockdown time to develop their sound and image to arrive at where they are now.
The 8 songs that appear on their debut EP (release date: 3rd October 2020), which is the first of either of their careers, have been chosen as a result of the streaming response from their fanbase which has proved a great way to connect with people when it could easily have turned lonesome. Slim Blue are sincerely thankful for the support they have received and continue to receive through the process of releasing their first EP.
Momentum is building with their audience through regular live streaming of songs and set lists having reached an accumulative total of 128,000 since first performing live online at the end of April.
